Hello Sara how are you? I write to you because I wanted to show you something incredible. About two weeks ago here in my town a young man was killed in a road accident while riding his bike. We were all shocked at the news, he was very young, but the thing that hurt the most was the fact that he was my best friend’s ex boyfriend. Since I know just how much she had loved him, I knew the pain that she was going through and I felt myself melting in a sea of pain just knowing that she was suffering so much. The accident happened Saturday afternoon and she called me Saturday evening, crying desperately, I immediately went to visit her and on my way there I was thinking about her parents and her brother, and the I started thinking about my own daughter, now she is still very young but one day, when she will be old enough, she will go out by herself and I will always be in the grip of panic…. In this world is there a parent who would not be worried? My goodness, it’s better to change the subject….
In any case, on Sunday afternoon I took my daughter to the carnival festival and she, together with her little girlfriends, wanted to go out to throw some spray confetti (you know, those cans of long colored foam streams) Since it was cold I made her wear the thick coat but since she always feels her neck choked up by thick clothing every five minutes I had to go back to her to make her wear her sweater again. Throughout the afternoon my thoughts were with my girlfriend and I hoped that on my way home I might bump into her, or at least I could not wait to call her again.
After my daughter had been playing for a while I called her up to come back close to me again so I could adjust her coat, and I noticed something strange. The coat was all stained by the spray confetti, but on the front of it, on the right hand side, I could clearly see the letter R, very clearly defined, there was no smudging of any type, even though you could tell that the stain was caused by the spray confetti. My heart fluttered right away, because the name of the young man was Roberto.
I had no doubt that this was a sign coming from him, what leaves me perplexed is why he showed through my daughter, or in any case through me, since I did not have any kind of contact with him. In any case, here is the picture, because regardless of the recipient, this is still a sign from the other side (by the way, are we sure that it’s the “other side, since they are always on “this” side?), I was extremely pleased that he wanted to show himself to me, to console those who are left behind.
